As always, the HSBC has many constant needs.  As a non-profit organization, we depend on our members, adoptions, sale of pet supplies and fund-raisers to survive.  Your donations go directly towards our animals.  Even a $1.00 donation buys 5 cans of food.  Please remember our many homeless animals; they are counting on you!

Other items continually in demand are:  canned cat food (turkey or chicken especially for the sensitive stomachs of kittens), bleach, dish and laundry detergent, paper towels, office supplies and, especially, VOLUNTEERS!!!

We now offer new pet insurance to anyone adopting an animal from us.  It becomes available within 48 hours of adoption and is good for six weeks.  It is free to the adoptee and covers a variety of illnesses. There is a $50 deductible fee and a maximum of $500 per incident.  After 6 weeks the adoptee has the option of continuing the insurance for a very low rate ($6.95 per month).  Full details available at www.petcareinsurance.com
